Stuck in Canada, far from my roots, I found clarity in the quiet. I realized I wanted to build something meaningful, a brand that challenges the noise of today’s superficial culture and offers a quieter, more intentional way forward.
Growing up by the Mediterranean taught me to appreciate slow living — time with family, traditions, and moments that feel effortless yet significant. It’s about elegance, not excess.
I wanted Besson to reflect that. The idea was to create pieces that feel like an extension of the person wearing them — swimsuits that flow seamlessly from a swim in the sea to a cocktail party, blending the relaxed soul of the Mediterranean with the energy of North America.
